jenny krakovsky
Jenny Krakovsky is a traditional filmmaker using new technology in pioneering and experimental ways to explore beyond the bounds of cinema.
ABOUT
Approach
Jenny was trained by the founder of the National Film & Television School, the late great Colin Young, a pioneer in observational documentary. Jenny started her career making documentaries and commercials for brands like Nike, Prada, Adidas, Bentley, VICE, GQ, and WIRED before moving into narrative fiction. She brings these cinéma vérité sensibilities, her love of Italian Neorealism and French Nouvelle Vague to AI and hybrid filmmaking techniques.
BOSS (2026)
30 Day Challenge
In May 2026 Jenny set out to make a feature film with AI in 30 days. She released a five-minute video on social media announcing her challenge and that she would vlog for 30 days about the experience. Her first vlog was watched by over 50K people. Across the 30 day feature film challenge Jenny attracted over 750K impressions on social media and the attention of Oscar-winner and Pulp Fiction screenwriter Roger Avary who said: "This is legit indie filmmaking in 2026...the vanguard."
SOCIAL MEDIA
The accidental influencer
Jenny's 30 Day Feature Film Challenge accidentally made her an influencer. Jenny harboured no desire whatsoever to be in front of a camera or on YouTube and yet that's probably what made people want to watcher her. Jenny provides value to her audience through her knowledge, insights, experience and passion for both traditional filmmaking and new technology.
